Type locality: Obudu Plateau, Nigeria

Diagnosis

Known only from the male holotype, which differs from P. stahli by (1) 3-4 Ax in each wing, rather than 5-7 Ax;

(2) Pt swollen with posterior margin strongly convex, rather than narrow with straightish posterior margin; (3) cerci more than (rather than less) 2x as long as S10, their apices smooth with long and shallow subapical blade, rather than spiny apices with short and deep subapical blade; (4) only extreme tips of paraprocts upturned, rather than entire apical half (lateral view).

Habitat description

Streams shaded by forest. Probably especially faster sections (rapids, falls) with rocks. Recorded at around 1500 m above sea level.
