Habitat description
Standing waters and (headwater) streams in open landscapes, open areas in forest or shaded by gallery forest. Often pools in stream beds with emergent and aquatic vegetation, coarse detritus, and/or probably overhanging branches. From 100 to 2100 m above sea level, but possibly down to sea level.
