Type locality: Cameroon, no locality data available.
Diagnosis
Male is similar to I. jillianae, and similar to all other Isomacromia species by (a) anal loop elongate rather than stout, of 14-29 cells, extends about to level of radial fork, with distinct midrib; (b) sectors of arculus only fused at their origin. However, differs by (1) ranging from E DRC to W Africa; (2) larger size, Hw 40-46 mm; (3) venter of thorax anteriorly metallic green, posteriorly with dark brown triangle, these colours enclose V-shaped yellow marking; (4) vulvar scale with pointed apices, separated by cleft that narrows towards base, hairs on apices extend into this cleft; (5) wing bases with dark subcostal rays to Ax3-7; (6) Pt larger with 3 mm; (7) 24-29, rather than 19-23 cells in anal loop.
